Welcome To The Jungle

I’m excited and also a bit shocked to even be writing this post as I love an animal print and the trend has always dipped in and out over time but it is back with a bang this season and I couldn’t be happier!
The only problem I have is how to keep it under control and not go and buy one of everything in each print!

It can be tricky with so many great options to flaunt this seasons trend but there is some fantastic pieces about that look fab and also won’t break the bank.

I wasn’t sure what animal piece I wanted but soon honed in on a skirt option as I thought that would be a great thing to have over autumn/winter. Wearing it with t-shirts and trainers on those days in October where we get the odd warm afternoons, or pairing it with jumpers and boots once the temperature starts to plummet.

I had my eye on a few different styles…..

The Never Fully Dressed skirt

The & Other Stories skirt

Which sadly is now very much sold out online!- I think there may be a few are still available in selected stores.

The very gorgeous
Realisation Par

Which I am still considering buying, because let’s face it -It’s bloody dreamy.

But in the end I actually stumbled upon this cute one I spotted while grabbing some groceries in my local Tesco!

I’d never really been much of a fan of pleats but these fall quite nice on this skirt. Sadly it is also 100% polyester, which normally would be a big fat no from me, but out of pure curiosity I bought it home and loved it when I tried it on. So it’s a winner!

Since their online store closure I have noticed F&F have been stocking a lot more on trend pieces so I was quite pleased to spot this in there. Needless to say, I’ve been back a week later and can’t see these anymore now, so I think they have possibly sold out.
